Most Searched for Out-Of-Print Books of 2013

AbeBooks.com – a fantastic cite for finding cheap books and rare out-of-print books – recently release their list of “Most Searched for Out-Of-Print Books in 2013”.  A lot of the rare books are the larger, art/coffee-table variety, but there are some books that fall into the more traditional variety (ie. Rage by Stephen King, or The Harvard Classics edited by Charles W Eliot).  I find lists like these especially interesting because they highlight books that impacted society significantly at the time they were published and, in a way, hold a piece of history – they represent where we’ve been, and some of the things that have shaped us.  I’ll include the top 5 for this post: Ragebachman

  1. Sex by Madonna
  2. Rage by Stephen King
  3. My Pretty Pony by Stephen King
  4. The Harvard Classics edited by Charles W Eliot
  5. On the Nature and Existence of God by Richard M Gale
